Its slogan is: the first, largest and most important annual international event for the commercial construction industry.

CIM Connect is the name of the annual convention and exhibition of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, to be held in Vancouver in 2024.
It is an event to share trends, cutting-edge technology and the evolution of mineral extraction. The theme for 2024 is “Brand Canada: Our Core Advantage”, and aims to deepen Canada's role in the minerals, metals and energy extraction industry. Last year's event attracted more than 6,800 visitors from 60 countries, more than 700 stands and 320 presentations.
