Machine status

The criterion for classifying the condition of a product is classified according to certain parameters. According to these, machinery can be classified into:

• Non-operating status

  Machine not operational or in very bad condition. Machine has to be demolished or sold for parts. Machine in unsafe condition.

• Poor state

  Machine in poor condition with visible cracks or repairable structural problems. Machine is operational but, in order to function properly, may need major repairs to tires/trucks, paint, pins and/or bushings, power train or hydraulics.

• Good condition

  Machine is in good condition and operational, no structural problems. Tires/track about 30/40% residual life. No relevant hydraulic leaks, pins/bushings with normal wear, frame may need repainting. Machine is ready to work as is, although may need minor repairs for better performance. Machine in safe condition or easy to be in safe condition.

• Very good condition

  Machine in very good condition with no more than five years and/or 5,000 working hours. No structural problems; paint condition is almost perfect. May need an easy overhaul to be sold as new. Major components with 50/60% residual life. Machine in safe condition.

• Excellent condition

  Machine in excellent condition, comparable to new. Main components with 70/80% residual life. Machine in safe condition.
